My Marine Project: Helping Ocean Welfare

My Marine project: I'm sure we can all agree that the oceans and seas are a magnificent and wondrous thing, and that's why I've started this Marine Project, because I want to help conserve and save what we can of this beauty. I have decided to sell turtle drawings and merchandise, along with other sea creatures, scenes and wildlife, in order to raise money for the Marine Conservation Society. I will continue to produce a collection of sea and ocean inspired works to raise awareness of the cause and these will all eventually be on sale too, with 20% of all profits going to the charity!😀 The Original Drawings of these two turtle pieces are for sale in my etsy shop , with proceeds going to the Marine Conservation Society. Red bubble merchandise is also available to purchase and will contribute to the charity as well, helping the conservation of our oceans and welfare of ocean wildlife. My Art Journey

Nope.... contrary to common thought, I didn't suddenly pop out of the womb with a pencil and was magically able to draw. You think I'm talented? (or maybe not, it’s okay lol)...Well thank you, but that certainly may be only half true... or maybe the word talented isn't quite fitting. What is talent really? Does it just mean you are naturally more predisposed to succeed in a certain area? I mean, can that really be the case? because I assure you there was once a day when we were all talentless little nothings that just slept and cried all day (of course this still occurs from time to time, but you get my jist). Okay, so where am I going with this?.... well I guess I'm just trying to say that we all had to start somewhere. Of course some people are more "naturally gifted" in areas than others, but really, when it comes down to it, hard work and practise is the main suspect. So yeah, I wasn't born an artist, but I just had a deep burni...

Why I started this Blog

...oh so she decided to start a blog did she?... wow what a surprise! Truth be told, Ive been thinking about starting a blog for a while now. It's literally been on my to do list for over a year and I've been telling myself to keep planning, that I'm going to do such in such by this date, and it's just never happened....until now that is. No, I haven't done all the things I said I would, or planned all the things I wanted to, I just thought it was time to just throw myself in the deep end,..... so here I am.... and so here are you incidentally. My initial motives for starting my blog came from, of course, you knew it: instagram. I started my art account several years ago. I'd seen other instagram artists and was so inspired that I desperately wanted to start sharing my own work, connect with other artists, become inspired and join the community. After a while I realised that I couldn't share everything that I wanted to share. ...
